Los Principales Fabricantes de Vehiculos [USA], anuncian decisiones importantes; Bueno algo tienen que hacer, la situacion es dificil; pero cual sera el resultado de las nuevas medidas por aplicar?....
Mo, this is no new software. The boards just got spell check and a few weeks back you were able to sort your messages for viewing. The boards were fine. They lack a simply moderator. Newspapers are laying off employees because they didn't think of their readers. The same will happen here at KLAC. They have a way of building listenership and they squash it,
2nd game 146 (wtf) splits and missed spares, struck out in the 10th to get to 146.
3rd game 182 clean game but only one strike
11/24/08 - PBAX Scorpion
1st game 211 won the point. Clean game with a couple of doubles.
2nd game 186 lost the point by 6 pins. Had only one open.
3rd game 173 lost the point by 12 pins but took totals due to winning the 1st game by a large amount. Had two opens both splits. The guy I bowled against gave me a Radar Lock...can't wait to get it plugged and drilled.
I also had the high series on our pair...seems everyone was having issues.
11/28/08 - No TGIF due to Thanksgiving Holiday
12/01/08 - PBAX Chameleon
1st game 178 lost the point. Decided to try the inside shot as everyone else was going outside and burning up the shot real quick. Only had one open but couldn't string any strikes.
2nd game 186 won the point. Yep I was right, the outside shot went to crap while I still had a decent shot and leaving easy spares even though I couldn't string any strikes.
3rd game 190 lost the point by 4 pins. Again couldn't string any strikes, had one open, had only 3 opens all night including a split in the 9th this game that cost me the game.
I had the third best series on my pair and there were no 600's on this pair. Talked to another bowler a couple of days later he said there were no 600's on his pair either. Again tough shot for almost everyone. And oh yeah, got the Radar Lock redrilled and boy does it hook, WOW! This ball is why I decided to try the inside shot tonight.
I was reading a Reuters report in our morning newspaper and was reminded that O.J.'s verdict will be passed today.
In fact I have Sky News on who are expecting the verdict at 5pm (GMT)
The article speculated that O.J. could recieve anything between 6 years or life in prison.
O.J.'s lawyer was pressing for the minimum sentance because "Simpson has never previously been convicted of a crime." and added "Thus he now stands before the court as a first offender."
My reaction to the "first offender" quote
I noticed that Ron Goldmans father and sister were in the queue waiting entry to the courtroom.
I have had a bit of a revelation. I have felt a little guilty about not being an avid reader. Then it occurred to me that just because I'm not reading novels on the best-seller list doesn't mean I've not been reading. Most of the stuff I've been devouring has been about writing, politics, and technical stuff related to my 20-year battle to stop an airport in Illinois. I have been pouring over those reports for decades. And, they are not an easy read.
I have always considered myself a poor reader, a slow reader. But, the problem is that I haven't been reading for enjoyment. I'm going to change that. In fact, it may become a New Year's Resolution, since that time is nearing and I'm tired of the old standby diet resolution.
I picked up one of those trashy romance things that I bought years ago for $.50 at a garage sale just for fun. I used to read them when I was younger. But now after writing for so many years, I was surprised to see the quality, or lack thereof contained in the book. I think I'm ready for the best seller list.
When I decided to walk away from newswriting for a get-no-respect, go-nowhere publication in another state, I thought I would do a little magazine writing. That was my intention when I came to this community. And that is still the plan. But I was surprised to see how many people are writing novels.
I am happy to report that yesterday, I just started writing. I ended up with 5,555 (according to MS Word) in the book I have been wanting to write. It is a bit of a memoir. I'm certainly writing what I know and enjoying every word as I reminisce with myself. If this never goes anywhere, it will still be a joyful exercise. If it does, well, that would be just wonderful.
Thanks to all in this community that offer support for such endeavors.
I have done reasonably well in the last 10 years of having a computer. Members of the family think me an expert (deluded they certainly are)
I know that as you learn a little you get to a door, open the door and you are faced with a corridor with another 12 doors along it. Learn a little more and you open one of the doors to be faced with a similar corridor and another dozens doors.
This is fine as you learn a little you get a key to open another door, and you progress. Every time I think I have done well, I receive my key (provided by the computer) and insert it into the lock of my next door. 'Oh Oh Oh, that is the wrong key' says the computer.
'But you gave me the bloody thing' is my measured reply.
'Error - do you think I am going to make life easy heh heh heh'
Try the help desk and you are referred to the FAQ page first. Now this is always in a language that is alien to me and the questions are ones I would never think of asking because they never refer to my problem.
This week I spent from late Wednesday morning until late evening trying to add three new email addresses to my Outlook Express account (not for multiple ids here I assure you) because I want to set up one for Mrs OT and one each for two new websites. (The system I am using requires a separate address for each site.)
The error message when they went live! was that they needed 'verifying' Which I did and got the confirmation codes required etc. But non of them are working.
How the many of you who have multi ID's manage it, is beyond me.
By this time I should have had at least one of the sites up and running but still sorting out the email addresses.
I have a three inch thick book on Windows XP Inside Out. It devotes a five inch paragraph and finishes with, 'click the finish button and you are live'. Some bloody chance.
Sounds like a long call at 50p per minute to bloke in Inda who I cannot understand properly due to my hearing problem.
In the past couple of weeks we have suffered a single power cut lasting one and half hours between 4.30 and 6.00 pm. When phoning the Electricity supplier to report the break in supply I first had to listen to a recorded message relating to earlier power cuts in Shrewsbury and Whitchurch.
The other day I heard of a power cut in the Plymouth area and yet again in Essex.
We know that the Government are desperately short of power generation and storage facilities having delayed entering in to new contracts for nuclear power stations and building additional storage. It is going to take five to ten years before this shortfall is reversed and in the meantime the Government are shit scared that severe winters and high demand will blow the gaffe.
Being the skeptical type, I am really wondering if the Government are already allocating power in a series of of planned power cuts which would suggest that the margin between ample and shortage is desperately close. Has anyone else experienced untimely and unexplained power cuts that may well be the first signs of rationing.
Full results of the WWE special that will air on NBC, Vince McMahon makes an appearance
1. Kelly Kelly defeated Maria in a dark match. Not sure if she was just selling, but Maria was holding her jaw pretty good after the match.
2. R-Truth, CM Punk, and Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz, John Morrison Morrison, and JBL. The crowd was very into R-Truth and the whole "What's Up!" and there were a lot of chants for CM Punk, who got worked over hard during the match. Jeff Hardy was the star with this crowd though, and he seemed to really enjoy being around the troops.
A Cryme Tyme Christmas (with Santa's Helper Divas)
3. Rey Mysterio, Batista and John Cena beat Big Show, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton. Rey was pummeled for a good portion of the match, and there were a lot of chants for Cena. During the match Jericho and Big Show had words, then Big Show crushed Jericho and then Orton, and walked out of the match. It was really funny watching Cena and Batista's facial expressions when Big Show took down the other two, and then wave bye to him as he left.

An art teacher has been found guilty of unprofessional conduct for suggesting a parent shove a pair of pliers "up his arse" during a row. On first hearing, this seems fair enough. But when the details of the case are outlined, it is hard not to have some sympathy.
Lee Warren had confiscated a mobile phone from a pupil because she was using it in lessons at James Hornsby High School, in Basildon, Essex.
He handed it in to reception and said the girl could have it back at the end of the day.
In the meantime, the pupil borrowed a friend's phone, and rang her father to complain. He stormed down to the school, retrieved the phone from reception, and handed it back to her. She then used it to make further calls in front of Mr Warren.
At the end of the day, the teacher, who had volunteered to carry out repairs to the school toilet and was carrying a pair of plyers, was called to reception to talk to the girl's father. A row ensued and Mr Warren uttered the unfortunate phrase.
Parent A gave evidence against him at a General Teaching Council tribunal. There was no word of a reprimand for Mr A for presumably breaking school rules about pupils possessing mobile phones during lessons.
This kind of behaviour from parents is becoming increasingly common place. I have seen complaints sent to schools about teachers who dared to raise their voice at a naughty child. Simple misunderstandings, like the child who is inadvertently overlooked as milk monitor for a few days in a row, get blown out of all proportion by anxious parents who seem intent on protecting their child from perceived slights all around them.
